Fans of The Pitt received exciting news on February 14, 2025, when MAX announced the renewal of the series for a second season. Show creator and runner R. Scott Gemmill confirmed to DECIDER that the team is currently busy crafting scripts for the upcoming season, which will center around the events of a chaotic Fourth of July shift.
While we don’t yet have an exact premiere date, we do know that The Pitt Season 2 will be coming out in January 2026 on MAX. The cast expects to be back on set this June.
