Bruce Willis and his wife, Emma Heming, maintain a close relationship with his ex-wife, Demi Moore.
The actor and the actress got married in 1987 and started their family the following year with the birth of Rumer in 1988. They welcomed their other daughters, Scout and Tallulah, in 1991 and 1994, respectively. However, they announced their separation in 1998 and finalized their divorce two years later.
In 2015, the couple’s oldest daughter praised her parents for their coparenting relationship during an interview with Larry King, saying, “They always made an effort to do all of the family events still together and made such an effort to still have our family be as one unit, as opposed to two separate things, which I think really made an impact.”
Following their split, Moore went on to marry Ashton Kutcher, and their marriage lasted from 2005 to 2013. Meanwhile, Willis tied the knot with Heming in 2009 and went on to renew their vows a decade later. The couple shares two daughters, Mabel and Evelyn, who were born in April 2012 and May 2014, respectively.
The pair make their marriage work by having “a lot of respect for each other, which has really helped build a great foundation,” the Malta native told Us Weekly exclusively in April 2019. “He always keeps me on my toes, so it’s fun.”
