It’s official: 2024 was the year when a lot of people realized celebrity kids were no longer, well, kids.
Celebrity children who were once little tykes, such as those from the Jolie-Pitt family, Violet Affleck – the oldest daughter of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, and Ryder Robinson – son of Kate Hudson, have now blossomed into young adults carving out their own paths.
One notable young adult is Suri Cruise, the 18-year-old daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, who recently finished high school and is said to have started her college journey at Carnegie Mellon University.
Katie Holmes, 46, expressed her pride in her daughter during an interview with Town & Country magazine in August, acknowledging the bittersweet feeling of being an empty nester. She affirmed her joy in Suri’s achievements and progression in life.
For her birthday on December 18, Holmes shared a photo of a bouquet of purple roses seemingly sent to her by Suri. “I am so grateful for all of my blessings 💕especially my daughter 🌷,” the actress shared via Instagram Stories.
