Jamie Foxx Expresses Gratitude to Atlanta Car Dealerships for Bringing Holiday Joy to His Daughters

Through a video shared with his Instagram followers on Christmas Day, Foxx conveyed his heartfelt thanks to the dealership for their involvement in surprising his daughters with MINI G-Wagons as Christmas gifts.

The video features Jamie Foxx showing off the new vehicles in the driveway of a mansion.

In the Instagram post, captioned with “@atlantaautos showed up and showed out!! BIGGUPS,” Foxx can be seen in a Christmas sweater proudly revealing two brand new Black MINI G-Wagons, showcasing his delight at the thoughtful gesture from the dealership.

A humbled Foxx gave thanks to Atlanta Autos for helping him make his daughters happy.

“Atlanta Autos! Atlanta Autos got me riiiiight,” said Foxx as he panned the camera to show off one of the MINIs. “Look at that! The MINI G-Wagon for my daughter, man.”

“Atlanta Autos, Man. Thank you for everything, my Bro. When I say you put this thing in the stratosphere, look at this. Oh, yeah,” he added as he opened the door to another MINI with Gucci bags in the backseat. “We Gucci’d down.”

Foxx must be a Gucci fan because the 57-year-old was spotted having dinner on Christmas Eve while sporting a sweater from the Italian luxury brand.

According to Daily Mail, Foxx was wearing a red Gucci sweater paired with black pants as he dined with his family at Crustacean in Beverly Hills on Dec. 25.

Foxx looked dapper as he strolled outside the restaurant in the Gucci ensemble and matching chunky rubber-soled shoes. The “Django” star also wore a pair of light-colored shades paired with two diamond necklaces.

Foxx has a new Netflix movie coming out in January called “Back in Action” that also stars actress Cameron Diaz. The streamer promoted the film by sharing a funny video of the two stars reminiscing on Instagram.

The video featured the duo sitting at the piano as Foxx played and occasionally broke into song.

“People don’t even realize how long we’ve been friends,” said Foxx as Diaz replied, “True. Since we were in ‘Any Given Sunday’ together, which was in 1999. And now, we’re back in action, baby.”

The two actors play a married couple and former spies who get dragged back into the world of espionage in the film.

Back in 2023, Foxx was in Atlanta to film scenes from “Back in Action” when he came down with a severe headache. Before he could ask a friend for an aspirin, he passed out.

Foxx had suffered from a brain bleed which led to a stroke and required immediate surgery. The “Blame It” singer woke up 20 days later and had to learn how to walk again at a rehabilitation facility in Chicago.

He said in his comedy special, “Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was…” that humor helped him heal after the stroke.

“If I can stay funny, I can stay alive,” said Foxx.

Foxx’s 16-year-old daughter, Anelise, was 14 at the time of her father’s stroke and snuck into his hospital room to play her guitar for him. The “Annie” actor said in his comedy special that his daughter’s music improved his vital signs.

“My vitals are so bad, they’re going to lose me,” said Foxx.

“That’s when a miracle happened, and that miracle was working through my youngest daughter,” he continued. “She’s 14 – I didn’t want her to see me like that, but she snuck into my hospital room with my guitar. ‘I know what my daddy needs.'”

“When she was playing, my vitals… went down… it was God in that guitar,” he added. “Spiritual defibrillator.”
