The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives actress Jen Affleck is currently enjoying extravagant baby shower festivities with her husband, Zac Affleck, in anticipation of their third child’s arrival.
Recently, Jen took to Instagram on Friday, May 9, to share delightful photos from the baby-themed event. The pictures showcased an apparent all-white attire theme, an array of gifts, and decorations like a stork and adorable baby onesies.
“Baby, you are already so, so loved!!🥺🤍🕊️🪽Jen, 25, captioned the carousel of photos.
In her post, Jen expressed her gratitude, stating, “We felt incredibly loved as friends and family showered us with affection at our baby shower! I am deeply thankful for the wonderful people in my life. The event was nothing short of perfection and truly the baby shower of my dreams!! A simple thank you will never suffice!! 🤍”
The photos also showed a heavily pregnant Jen glowing in a stunning white dress that complemented her blossoming baby bump.
Jen announced in an interview with People in January that she and Zac are expecting their third child together. (The couple are already parents to Nora, 3, and Lucas, 22 months.)
“I’ve always dreamed of a big family, and seeing that dream come true is both exciting and fulfilling,” Jen told the outlet.. “It can be daunting to think about raising three babies while pursuing my career, but I want to show women and mothers that they can achieve anything they set their minds to, no matter how unrealistic it may seem.”
At the time, Jen admitted the pregnancy came as a surprise to both her and Zac.
“I was a few days late, and while it was a surprise, we both had a feeling there was another baby waiting for us,” she shared. “We were very excited, there were a lot of emotions after a very crazy year!”
Season 1 of Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives premiered in September 2024 and followed a group of Mormon mom influencers in Utah. While fellow mom influencers Taylor and Dakota’s issues were largely at the center of the series, Jen and Zac’s marriage also had its moment.
Initially, Jen was presented as a devout Mormon with a seemingly perfect home life, but her costars — and viewers — got a glimpse at her marital issues toward the end of the season when Zac claimed she had “no values or morals” after a girls night out in Las Vegas.
Jen defended Zac when the episodes were released in September 2024, exclusively telling Us Weekly where the couple stood.
“Ever since we finished filming, we’ve been doing nonstop therapy and it’s been great,” Jen said at the time. “So if anything, [watching the show] is just going to be exposure therapy at this point. We’ve healed and now we’re ready to talk about it once it comes out.”
