Kayla Nicole, Travis Kelce’s former partner, speaks out about the continuous harassment from Swifties

Kayla Nicole, the former girlfriend of Travis Kelce, has disclosed that she continues to face online harassment as a result of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s high-profile romance with Taylor Swift.

Having been in an on-and-off relationship with Kelce from 2017 to 2022, Kayla detailed that the cyberbullying commenced after the NFL athlete made his relationship with the “Bad Blood” songstress public in September 2023.

Despite their breakup, Kayla Nicole, has continued to be dragged into the spotlight due to Travis Kelce’s relationship with the “mega-superstar.”

During a recent episode of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” Nicole opened up about the challenges of dealing with a public breakup.

“Going through a public breakup, just to be frank, it’s been overwhelming,” she admitted. “I’ve never experienced anything like it.”

Expressing her dismay, Nicole mentioned how being solely referred to as “someone’s ex-girlfriend” was quite upsetting for her. She also commented on the negative backlash she receives due to Kelce’s relationship with a global superstar like Taylor Swift.

Despite the negativity, she was quick to compliment Swift, saying she “liked” her and found her “very talented.”

Critics have attacked her appearance, accused her of seeking validation, and criticized her for how she presents herself online. One user wrote on one of her posts, “Why do you seek so much validation from posting yourself like this?” while another commented, “Not all men want to see skin on social media in their future wife.”

In response to one particularly harsh troll on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, Nicole retweeted a sarcastic comment about her appearance, writing, “YOU WILL NEVER MAKE ME HATE ME. Hang it upppppppp bookie.”

Brittany has been seen frequently spending time with Swift, attending games together and even sharing a double date with the Kelce-Swift couple. Brittany and Kayla were once close friends, with Kayla even serving as a bridesmaid at the Mahomes’ wedding in March 2022.

However, the unfollow and un-liking of previous posts on Instagram have left many fans shocked.

“Preserve your heart even when they try to quantify your character and test your boundaries,” she wrote. “You do not have to respond. Because there is power in your silence.”

Ahead of the release of Swift’s 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” in April 2024, Nicole once again took to social media to address the relentless trolling. “I’m unproblematic. Mind my business. Never respond to the constant vitriol,” she wrote.

“Solid as they come & don’t expect a pat on the back for it either. Just know everyone has a breaking point & would love for ‘yall’ (because you know exactly who you are) to leave me alone,” Nicole added.

As of now, neither Travis Kelce nor Taylor Swift has publicly addressed the remarks or harassment directed at Kayla Nicole.

In July 2023, Kelce attended Swift’s Eras Tour concert at Arrowhead Stadium. Hoping to connect with the singer, he attempted to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number. By September 2023, Swift began attending Kelce’s football games, which ignited dating rumors. The two were soon spotted together at various events, including post-game celebrations, confirming their relationship.

The couple made their official debut in October 2023, attending a “Saturday Night Live” afterparty together. Photographed holding hands, Swift and Kelce became a favorite subject of widespread media coverage.

Throughout 2024, Swift and Kelce continued to support one another’s careers. Swift was a regular presence at Chiefs games, often seen cheering alongside Kelce’s family and friends. Kelce reciprocated by making appearances at Swift’s concerts and public events. Of course, Swifties went wild as their relationship continued to blossom.

As the couple’s relationship deepened, engagement rumors began circulating. In January 2025, Kelce discussed wedding seasons on his podcast, revealing a preference for summer weddings. This comment only fueled speculation about their potential future together.
