Kevin Costner denies any romantic involvement with Jennifer Lopez or anyone else at the moment

However, a source close to Costner has clarified that the 70-year-old actor is currently focused on enjoying time with his family and is not actively seeking any serious romantic relationships.

Approaching his 70th birthday, Costner is embracing a more relaxed lifestyle. The father of seven is reportedly content and enjoying quality time with his loved ones and close friends, following his divorce from Baumgartner almost a year ago.

Sources close to Costner shared with People Magazine that he “is not seriously involved with anyone and not necessarily looking for anything more than that right now.”

Though romantically linked to a few high-profile women since his split from Baumgartner, including Jewel, Sharon Stone, and Jennifer Lopez, Costner is reportedly not pursuing anything serious at the moment.

“Kevin is cool, real, and in some ways old-school in his thinking. He has a lot of interests and loves being busy when he is in that mode,” the insider added.

The Oscar winner is the father of seven children: Annie, 40; Lily, 38; Joe, 36; Liam, 29; Cayden, 17; Hayes, 16; and Grace, 14.

During an appearance on Howard Stern’s show last June, Costner addressed rumors of a romance with singer Jewel, firmly denying them.

He explained, “Jewel and I are friends. We’ve never gone out ever.”

The “Yellowstone” actor emphasized the importance of their friendship, saying, “She’s special, and I don’t want — I don’t want these rumors to ruin our friendship because that’s what we have. She’s special to me. She’s beautiful enough to go out with.”

Costner noted that he and Jewel, along with Emma Watson and other guests, attended a charity event in the British Virgin Islands in November 2023.

During this event, photos of Jewel sitting on Costner’s lap with his arm wrapped around her waist went viral, leading many to believe they were dating. However, the actor stated that was not the case.

“She was somebody I just had some tremendous conversations with, and along with Emma,” he added mentioning they all traveled together to and from Richard Branson’s Island.

After the Jewel rumors were squashed, Costner was rumored to be getting closer to actress Sharon Stone.

A source told InTouch that “sparks were flying” between the two at the Governors Awards in November, where they reportedly exchanged numbers.

Another source told the Daily Mail that the Hollywood stars had a “flirty” encounter at the event.

Then, in late December, Costner was spotted enjoying drinks with Lopez at Kemo Sabe in Aspen, Colorado.

The two were seen chatting with Lopez’s group, though it was unclear how much time they spent together.

Before his 70th birthday, Costner shared a heartfelt message on social media, directing his followers to support victims of the recent wildfires in Los Angeles.

He reposted a clip from “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” expressing his deep sorrow for the city, writing: “My heart has been so heavy for the city of Los Angeles… the city that for so many, including myself, has come to represent the American Dream.”

Costner continued, “It’s encouraging to see these stories of hope, kindness, and community in the face of such devastation. May we all find ways to help when help is needed.”
