Kim Kardashian Encourages Participation in Take Your Children to Work Day Despite Kanye West Controversy

Kim Kardashian is currently facing important decisions regarding the custody of her children with her former spouse, Kanye ‘Ye’ West. This comes after a series of controversial public statements and content shared by the rapper.

Despite the challenges she’s navigating in her personal life, Kim demonstrated her remarkable ability to juggle motherhood and entrepreneurial responsibilities. She was seen at a special event held at Mel’s Diner, which had been transformed into the SKIMS Drive-In for a temporary period.

Bringing three of her children along, Kim set up a pop-up for her famous brand, complete with an exclusive menu and stylish clothing options. She looked stunning in a form-fitting ensemble from her shapewear line, which included beige leggings and a matching top.

At the event, Kim struck sultry poses on the hood of a vintage car adorned with a “SKIMS” vanity license plate. She also spent quality time with her mini-mes, carrying Chicago and Psalm at various times, while her son Saint joined her wearing a New Orleans Saints jacket. 

Notably absent, according to TMZ, was her eldest child, North, whose absence remains unclear; however, it is speculated that she is not with her father,  who is currently out of the country.

As reported by The Blast, Ye recently opened up about his past marriage to the reality star during an interview with DJ Akademiks. He made provoking surprise with his candid remarks in the hour-long conversation.

He expressed regret about having children with Kim, stating, “That was my fault,” and revealing that he did not want to have kids with her shortly after they began dating. The couple exchanged vows in May 2014 and had four children together before finalizing their divorce in November 2022.

The rapper discussed the complications surrounding custody, expressing frustration over not having equal control over the children, whom he described as celebrities.

He highlighted the tension in their co-parenting dynamic, particularly criticizing the perceived influence of his ex’s family over their children. He stated that “this white woman and this white family have the control” over his kids, who are “highly influential.”

Before Ye’s interview with DJ Akademics, the TV star reportedly cut short one of North’s visits with the rapper. Kim allegedly pulled the plug after discovering that controversial influencer Tate, who is currently facing human trafficking charges in Romania, would be present.

Kim and Ye also got into a text war as she was displeased with the father-of-four for using North’s vocals in a song featuring Diddy and Diddy’s son, Christian.

Ye shared screenshots of their conversation where he expressed his frustration over the situation, threatening to “go to war” over rights to their children’s name.

The texts indicated that the shapewear brand founder holds the rights to North’s name and attempted to prevent her voice from being used in the song, which angered Ye. 

He declared that he would never speak to her again unless she amended the situation, warning that the public fallout would be detrimental to both of them. In a dramatic statement, he asserted, “You’re going to have to kill me.”

Ye further ranted on X in a series of now-deleted posts that he had not seen his son Saint in six weeks, implying that his ex-wife and her family were keeping his kids away from him.

Reacting to his claim, a follower suggested he contact Kris Jenner to arrange a visit instead of discussing the issue publicly. The rapper then responded by questioning why he should have to ask Jenner to see his own children. 

He emphasized his commitment to protecting his kids, stating that he would no longer distract himself from his responsibilities as a father.

The YEEZY founder also mentioned plans to pursue full custody, criticizing what he called celebrity culture’s influence on his children, mainly targeting Disney and the Kardashian family. 

He asserted his role as a father, claiming he should have control over their upbringing, including what they watch, wear, and their educational choices.

As Ye’s actions escalate, the actress is determined to shield North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm from the chaos. 

The Blast noted that while she feels deeply frustrated with the situation, she is mindful of not expressing her feelings in front of her kids, recognizing that it could upset them.

A source shared that she is committed to protecting her children at all costs. While Ye can find solace away from criticism, Kim has to remain in Los Angeles to provide stability for their children. 

However, she is not immune to the emotional toll; she finds the situation humiliating and is constantly anxious about what he might do next.
