Kris Jenner Is Said to Be Pleased That Kim Kardashian Is Understanding the Challenges of Being a Momager

Kris Jenner carved a niche in Hollywood as the ultimate momager who has managed Kim Kardashian and her sisters’ careers over the years.

Kim is notably taking steps to formally manage her daughter North’s career, with valuable guidance from her mother, Kris. According to inside sources, Kris is excited about Kim following in her footsteps and is eager to share her extensive knowledge to help shape North’s future.

The source continued that Kris has dedicated much energy and effort to managing her family’s careers, often without receiving the acknowledgment she deserves.

Being a “momager” is a demanding role, and it sometimes feels as though her hard work has gone unnoticed by her family, the source explained to In Touch, adding:

“So, she’s pretty happy that Kim’s getting a taste of what it’s like and how exhausting it is. Kim’s already complaining about all the time it takes out of her own schedule and she’s asking Kris for her help.”

Kris’s experience has also taught her to respect boundaries where they exist. In light of this, the source explained that Kris is doing her best to assist, but she is not interested in fully taking over her granddaughter’s career.

The matriarch has relinquished the duty of tending North’s career to her daughter and the mantle of matriarch. Kris is also very aware of Ye’s existence and influence in the grand scheme of things, including his tendency to complicate everything.

“She already has enough on her plate, and the fact is, Kanye still has a say in everything that goes on, and he’s the last person Kris wants to have any sort of contact with,” the source established.

In all, the mother-of-six is still heavily invested in building “the next generation of her family empire, which is why she’s slowly been phasing the kids into the show.”

Kris’ efforts also extend to Kourtney’s kids with Scott Disick: Mason, Penelope, and Reign, who also feature on “The Kardashians.”

As the new generation of Kardashian children emerges, North, Kim’s 11-year-old daughter, stands out with the strongest potential for a breakout career among the grandchildren.

In a recent episode of “World’s First Podcast” hosted by Sara and Erin Foster, the billionaire shared her insights on guiding her daughter’s career decisions. She elaborated on the thoughtful approach she takes to ensure her daughter makes the best choices for her professional journey:

“She’ll get an offer to do a photo shoot or something. And like, we really sit and talk about it as a family. Like, ‘Should she do this? What’s too much? What’s not?'”

When asked if the business mogul is worried about her children growing up around the glitz and glam of the celebrity lifestyle with hopes to achieve fame one day, Kim had this to say:

“I can’t, like … they’re already in it, right? Because just of who their parents are. And so I try to protect that and be so mindful of them being their own people and them not feeling like they have to, you know, be in our shadows.”

Over two years ago, The Blast shared that North made her first entry into the movie industry by landing a role in “PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie,” alongside her mom.

The project featured a star-studded cast, including Taraji P. Henson, James Marsden, McKenna Grace, and Serena Williams, amongst others.

North’s mom, who played the character Delores in the first part of the movie, reprised her role in the sequel. North joined the cast as one of the three new pups alongside Alan Kim and Brice Gonzalez.

Kim’s second child and North’s brother, Saint, was also slated to make a brief cameo in the movie, which was set for release in October 2023.

She had earlier expressed her enthusiasm for expanding her acting career in an interview. Kim disclosed that she would love to try out her acting skills in a big way with Marvel.

“Would I act? I would if something fun came about,” she said. “Maybe a Marvel movie, that would be so fun to do. I’m not actively looking, but I think things just come when they’re supposed to.”
