Kylie Kelce is coming clean about why she wanted to expand her family with husband Jason Kelce.
Kylie Kelce, a podcaster and mother of three, playfully mentioned on her “Not Gonna Lie With Kylie Kelce” podcast episode on December 19 that she decided on having four children because she prefers even numbers.
During an interview with guest Charissa Thompson, Kylie, 32, shared that she always knew she wanted a big brood.
Her husband Jason was supportive of her decision, with Kylie expressing her desire for four children, leaving room for one unexpected blessing.
After having three daughters – Wyatt aged 5, Elliotte aged 3, and Bennett aged 22 months, Kylie felt content. However, after overcoming the challenges of baby care, she realized she favored even numbers and decided to go for a fourth child.
Thursday Night Football host Thompson then asked Kylie if she still wanted one more after welcoming baby no. 4.
“I think it might get shut down after this one,” the podcast host admitted. “We’re gonna have this next kid and I’m gonna be like, ‘Don’t even look at me. Eyes at the floor. Don’t look at me.’”
Earlier on the podcast, Kylie responded to fans’ questions about whether she and Jason, 37, have picked out a name for the new addition.
“First of all, love the confidence, but even if I did have a name picked out, I’d probably keep that one in the family,” she said. “What I will say: We don’t have a name picked out, so you’re not missing out on anything. And I have seen a number of the suggestions come through in the comments section so I appreciate that.”
Kylie and Jason shared news of their impending arrival last month via Instagram.
“I feel like we captured a very accurate representation of how each of the girls feel about getting another sister,” Kylie, 32, wrote via Instagram on Friday, November 22, alongside a photo of the couple’s three children wearing matching sweaters that read, “Big sister.” She added, “At least Ellie, mom and dad are on the same page! 🤷♀️.”
In the snap, their youngest daughter, Bennett, is crying, while the eldest, Wyatt, is holding her hands over her ears in shock. Elliotte, nicknamed “Ellie,” however, is all smiles.
