Lady Gaga and fiancé Michael Polansky felt the love while celebrating 50 years of Saturday Night Live.
The singer, aged 38, and her fiancé, an entrepreneur and tech investor aged 41, were seen at the SNL 50 Anniversary Special red carpet in New York City’s Rockefeller Center on Sunday, February 16. They shared a sweet kiss during the event.
Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, confirmed their engagement at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris last July. For their date at the event, she wore a charcoal gown that accentuated her figure, black gloves, and straight black hair. Polansky chose a stylish black tuxedo for the occasion.
While exchanging kisses, Gaga lovingly placed her arm on Polansky’s chest. The singer of “Abracadabra,” who had also performed at SNL50: The Homecoming Concert on Friday, February 14, smiled broadly while posing alone for photos.
Polansky recently opened up about his relationship with Gaga during a cover story interview for the February issue of Elle. In an article published on January 28, Polansky spoke candidly about the reality of dating a global pop icon.
“Accepting that you won’t have the privacy others might have was the hardest part,” Polansky, who resides in Los Angeles with Gaga, told the outlet. “But Stefani’s comfort with it and patience with me has been amazing. Our relationship is probably a lot like everyone else’s. We just have to figure out how to do some of it in public. That makes it even more important for us to have strong friendships and close family relationships. We find normalcy where we can.”
The interview also included thoughts from Gaga, who revealed that she echoed her fiancé’s sentiments. “We make pasta together; we roast things,” Gaga said. “We also really like making simple dishes with Michael’s mom, who lives nearby.”
Gaga was seen confirming her engagement in Instagram footage shared during last year’s Olympic Games. While speaking to the former Prime Minister of France, Gabriel Attal, Gaga was heard introducing Polansky as “my fiancé, Michael,” before Polanksy shook the politician’s hand.
While Polansky’s face wasn’t shown in the July 28 social media footage, photos snapped from the Olympic Games captured Polansky wearing the same black baseball cap with white lettering. Gaga, meanwhile, was clad in a Team USA jacket and black sunglasses with her platinum blonde hair pulled back into a simple ponytail.
The confirmation followed several months of engagement rumors after Gaga was spotted wearing a giant diamond on her ring finger while out in West Hollywood in April 2024.
Gaga and Polansky were first linked in December 2019 and subsequently quarantined together during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020.
