Lisa Barlow appeared briefly on the debut episode of Sold on SLC but has no plans to switch her role from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City to real estate.
As viewers tuned in to meet the new cast of the Bravo series set in Salt Lake City, they were surprised to see Lisa, an established member of RHOSLC, making a cameo.
During the episode, the 49-year-old Lisa visited realtor Sarah Martindale with the intention of potentially purchasing a new home and even managed to inject her signature brand of humor with a swingers joke.
“Should we try the swing?” Sarah said while showing Lisa the home gym on the property.
Lisa jumped right into the black, hammock-style contraption while Sarah sat in a normal rope swing located side-by-side.
“Let’s see how much weight it can hold. I mean, what is she doing in this?” Lisa teased as she rocked back and forth. “She’s a swinger!”
Sarah laughed, later telling the cameras, “In Utah you see some unique details in the home.”
After touring the space, Lisa got real about the things she really wants in a home. She identified a pool, a salon and a spray tan station as some of the “important” things she wants in her next house.
Sarah, who is friends with Lisa in addition to being her realtor, confessed that the $3.6 million listing isn’t the right fit. (BTW RHOSLC fans, you saw Sarah during season 5, episode 1, when Lisa hosted a Galentine’s Day event, and she attended.)
“Build,” Sarah told Lisa after hearing her list of demands. “I just think we want more,” Lisa replied.
It turns out that this won’t be the last fans see of the Real Housewife on the new show, as Lisa will pop up more than once in the trailer.
“God is in this brokerage,” Lisa declared in the teaser, wearing a different outfit than the one she wore during the premiere.
In a separate video released in September, Lisa said, “Hi, baby gorgeous. Did you think the SLC had enough drama with the Housewives?”
Jennifer Yeo — who is the CEO of Presidio and main star of Sold on SLC — replied, “Just wait until you see what my realtors bring to the table!”
Lisa cheekily responded, “A new Bravo show in Salt Lake? I love that.”
Jennifer and Lisa weren’t joking about the drama. During the premiere, fans learned that agents Matt Jones and Tyna Edwards don’t mesh. Matt allegedly claimed that Tyna doesn’t believe in God, which ruffled her feathers.
Sarah, meanwhile, was accused of “sleeping with the enemy” since she’s married to a rival broker. Jennifer, who hired her so Sarah could get out of her husband’s shadow, also suspected that Sarah is being shady — and possibly stealing clients.
“He never reached out to them,” Sarah claimed when asked about her husband’s latest employees leaving Presidio and going to his brokerage.
During a sit down with Sarah and her husband, Chris, Jennifer questioned why so many of her people have jumped ship. “This feels like poaching,” she said. Chris replied, “Agents come and go and it’s never fun.” Jennifer claimed, “It feels like some shady business going on.”
