Lizzo continues to show off her massive weight loss and slimmed-down body months after revealing she’d lost a whooping 16% of her body fat.
The rapper known for “About Damn Time” made a dazzling appearance at the Amazon MGM Studios 2025 Upfront at Beacon Theatre on Monday. Her outfit included a short miniskirt, a tight red corset, and a black T-shirt that accentuated her tiny waist.
She opted for blond hair and accessorized with bangles, rings, a necklace, and some hoop earrings, all in silver hardware.
Later that day, Lizzo stepped out with an entirely different look, rocking a black crocheted dress with cutout detailing on it.
She styled her blonde hair in a half-up, half-down manner and opted for a subtle makeup look, pairing the ensemble with black chunky heels.

The Singer Slammed Critics Who Say She Is ‘Skinny’
During a recent appearance on “The Breakfast Club,” the “Truth Hurts” singer slammed critics who say she’s “skinny now,” noting that she’s “big.”
During the event, she shared insights into her journey of “weight release,” which involved starting with decluttering her mind and eliminating negativity from her life, as reported by Billboard.
“I think I had to start with cleaning out my mind and my energy and clearing out all of the negativity around me. And I feel like I released so much I was holding on,” Lizzo said. “I do call it a weight release because [when] it started, I got snatched here first. And then my body just followed suit, so I do feel amazing.”
She then pushed back when Charlamagne Tha God said he doesn’t consider her “big” anymore. “I am big,” she said. “What we talking about? Baby, I’m big.”

“The Internet is like, ‘Oh, Lizzo’s skinny now,'” Lizzo added. “I am well over 200 pounds, do you know what I’m saying? I’m 5-foot-9. I got double-numbered pants on now.”

Lizzo Thinks Being ‘Skinny’ Is A ‘Feeling’, Not A ‘Look’
Lizzo’s weight loss journey hasn’t come without its own share of drama and controversies surrounding it. The “Good As Hell” singer has been accused of turning to the celebrity magic drug Ozempic to lose weight, but she has since denied the reports.
Although she announced that she reached her weight loss goal in January, she explained that she seemingly hasn’t seen any changes in her looks and even felt mentally skinnier in 2023 than now.
“Put me next to any pop star right now, I’m still bigger than them,” she explained, per Billboard. “I didn’t realize how much my body changed until I was filming the ‘Love in Real Life’ music video. I was in shock.”

“It shocked me, because the way that I’m releasing weight has been a long, slow process. People may not have seen me or been keeping up with me, but I’ve been posting about it, and I’m in a calorie deficit, so that’s the one that sneaks up on you.”
The rapper added, “When I was bigger, I felt skinnier than I do now. When I was in my string bikini and I was at my heaviest weight, I was like, ‘Skinny b-tch.’ That’s when I realized skinny was a feeling and not a look.”
The Singer Shared The Secret To Her Incredible Weight Loss
Last month, Lizzo opened up about losing 16% of her body fat in a TikTok Livestream, revealing that she had to cut off sugary foods and adopt a calorie deficit for her daily intake.
She explained that she was unaware that the “two to three” Starbucks drinks she took were adding about 1200 calories to her daily intake.
Lizzo noted that the only thing that worked for her “across the board, science-wise, is calories in versus calories out” before adding that she also cut out coffee altogether and started eating “super savory” food as opposed to “sugary stuff.”
“Everybody’s body is different. Find out what works for you,” Lizzo said during the livestream, insisting that counting calories is a good tool “to fight against the American food system.”

Lizzo Blames Fame For Small Circle
The Grammy winner seemingly rues what fame has cost her relationships and even issued an “anti-fame PSA.”
During a recent interview with Ziwe, she explained that she doesn’t have many friends because of how “weird” things became after she garnered fame, per Vibe Magazine.
“I don’t have any friends,” Lizzo jokingly said. “I used to have so many friends, but when you get famous, it gets really weird. Everyone makes it weird for famous people. I’m still a normal. person.”
When explaining fame, she admitted, “You’re still you. Everything around you changes. That’s fame in a nutshell, and people change, too. It’s heartbreaking.”
Lizzo then issued an “anti-fame PSA.”
“Don’t be famous,” Lizzo said. “I know you guys want to be, and I know you want to go online, go viral, get your money, and be rich. Don’t be famous. Rich and famous are not the same thing. Now, if you’re an artist, do your art, just being famous? You can’t leave. It never ends.”
