Last week in Venice, Hollywood elites gathered to witness the extravagant wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez. Notably absent from the event was the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.
Rumors are circulating that Meghan Markle is upset about not being invited, fueling speculation that she and Prince Harry may have fallen out of favor with influential figures in Hollywood.
It appears that Meghan Markle’s popularity has dwindled, as she also faced challenges in securing high-profile guests for her latest podcast, “Confessions of a Female Founder.”

Meghan Markle ‘Reeling’ Over Jeff Bezos And Lauren Sanchez’s Wedding Snub

Meghan has reportedly been left “reeling” after not receiving the coveted invitation to Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding.
The multimillion-dollar festival took place in Venice last week, with several A-list stars, including Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Sydney Sweeney, in attendance.
Reports suggest that Meghan wanted to obtain an invitation in order to cement her status as part of the who’s who of society. However, she sadly didn’t get any, which reportedly annoyed her as she believes she’s more famous than the Kardashians.
“Meghan is reeling after not receiving an invitation to Bezos and Sanchez’s wedding as she considers herself more famous and important than guests such as the Kardashians,” a source told Radar Online.

The Duchess Of Sussex ‘Would Love Lauren’s Life,’ Insider Claims

Meghan and Harry’s absence from the wedding has sparked speculation about their diminishing star power within Hollywood’s elite circles.
Since leaving their royal roles in 2020 and relocating to California, the couple has faced several controversies, including backlash from Harry’s blockbuster memoir, “Spare,” as well as allegations of running a “quasi-royal” front during their visits to several countries.
The couple made headway with a multimillion-dollar deal with streaming giants Netflix, and Meghan also launched her lifestyle brand, As Ever. However, it seems their effort hasn’t yielded much in endearing them to Hollywood’s hotshots.

Meghan Markle Is Unhappy About Her ‘Lack Of Appeal’

Not only have they seen their ratings decline in recent times, but Harry and Meghan have also had to deal with a dwindling circle of friends as their celebrity acquaintances reportedly desert them.
“They don’t have that many friends left,” a source told Radar Online, going on to narrate how the former “Suits” actress has done all to get big names on her project.
“She’s dialed all the big names, but no one’s picked up, and the absence of high-profile guests in the line-up is raising eyebrows,” another insider told the news outlet. “Especially hers. I mean, she lives in California, and the best she can do is a woman who runs a dating app. Jeez.”
“There’s no Taylor Swift. No Beyoncé. Not even a Hailey Bieber. And when you’re pitching female empowerment, that’s a problem! It speaks volumes for her pulling power. She’s not happy about her lack of appeal,” they added.

‘The Biggest Names In Hollywood’ Aren’t Picking Up The Duchess’s Call

Meghan’s struggle to get guests on her show raised eyebrows, with reports suggesting that even mid-tier names have been difficult for her to secure.
A PR expert says she has now turned her sights to influencers and upcoming CEOs because “the biggest names in Hollywood aren’t picking up her calls.”
“Not exactly the red-carpet royalty Meghan was banking on,” a source said.
They added: “Securing buzzworthy guests typically requires strong industry connections, but with Meghan’s current outreach yielding few callbacks, her ambitious vision may be suffering due to more prominent figures in the entertainment world.”
“She needs to be able to turn this tide and attract the star power needed to elevate her podcast into a must-listen experience,” the insider shared.
Celebrities Don’t Want To Fall Out With The Royal Family By Mingling With Harry And Meghan

According to Express, PR expert Ronn Torossian previously explained that Harry and Meghan’s reduced social circle can be attributed to their “less appealing” state, as well as a possible desire by Hollywood celebrities not to estrange themselves from the royal family.
“It’s clear that several of Meghan’s high-profile friendships have cooled over the past few years,” Torossian told the news outlet.
He noted that Meghan inadvertently confirmed this “when she gifted a limited batch of her American Riviera Orchard Jams,” as some of her famous friends like Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, and the Clooneys, kept mute about it, even though it remains unclear if they ever received one of the 50 jam jars.

“Either situation, the lack of public support or the lack of gifting, would speak to the cooling of these relationships and the shrinking of her Hollywood circle,” Torossian explained.
