White House Breaks X With Photo of Trump's Latest Oval Office Visitor From Hollywood

A recent social media post featuring Trump and actor Vince Vaughn in the Oval Office has gained widespread attention. The post, shared from the White House’s official account, shows Trump seated behind the Resolute Desk with Vaughn standing beside him.

The accompanying caption read, “President Donald J. Trump & Vince Vaughn in the Oval Office,” alongside a movie-style poster labeling them as “White House Crashers.”

It was an obvious reference to one of Vaughn’s bigger movie hits, the 2005 romantic comedy “Wedding Crashers” with actor Owen Wilson.

At the time of this publication, the post has been viewed 1.2 million times and counting.

Reading through the comments, social media users seemed to love the post.

Many people expressed their excitement over the unexpected duo, with one individual praising Vaughn’s ability to bring laughter. They also mentioned appreciation for Vaughn’s sister, Vicki Vaughn, highlighting her kindness and generosity.

Another added, “I knew there was a reason why I liked Vince Vaughn.”

In an earlier post, Rev. Patrick Mahoney wrote that Vaughn had attended a Good Friday service at the Capitol.

“I bumped into Vince Vaughn at our Good Friday service at the United States Capitol. He was here with his family,” Mahoney wrote. “Such a friendly and warm person. #VinceVaughn #GoodFriday.”

The post had a message from Vaughn to him that read, “God bless you. Keep up the good work!” It included a photo of the two men posing for a snap outside the Capitol.

The “Bad Monkey” star’s visit to the Oval Office is the latest one by a celebrity to the White House following Trump’s swearing-in as the 47th President of the United States. Other recent names include Kid Rock and comedian Bill Maher.

In 2020, “The Internship” star Vaughn faced backlash after videos surfaced of him shaking hands with Trump during the National Championship Game, which the two attended in New Orleans.

He later defended himself and said he wasn’t political and was just being cordial, the Independent noted.

“In my career I’ve met a lot of politicians who I’ve always been cordial to; I’ve met Nancy Pelosi and was cordial to her as well,” Vaughn told the outlet.

“It was the only time I’ve ever met him. We said hello. He was very personable,” he added. “I didn’t get into policies.”
