Paige DeSorbo knows that she won’t stay on Bravo’s Summer House forever.
Paige, 32, shared with Glamour that she acknowledges there will come a point where her time on Summer House will need to come to an end. She recognized that with the show’s focus on a vibrant lifestyle, she may no longer completely align with its original concept. Comments suggesting she may be too old for the show resonate with her, as she realizes she might not offer the same level of energy as a younger cast member.
Paige became part of the popular Bravo series during its third season in 2019, which revolves around a group of friends from New York renting a house in the Hamptons for the summer. The show is currently in its ninth season.
While Paige appreciates the reality TV experience, she acknowledges that it needs to reflect one’s true lifestyle to be enjoyable and genuine. She mentioned that as she matures, her interest in constant partying decreases. She confessed that she cannot indulge in heavy drinking on consecutive nights as it takes a toll on her body. Feeling exhausted from work, she was anxious about the last season’s release as she felt she wasn’t as involved due to her fatigue.
In addition to her reality TV career, Paige hosts her and former costar Hannah Berner’s “Giggly Squad” podcast and is in the process of launching a fashion line. She and Hannah, 33, also recently wrote a nonfiction book inspired by their podcast.
“When I first started Summer House, I knew that it was a means to something else. I always saw it as a stepping stone,” Paige told Glamour. “I knew I wanted to put out some type of product, but I’ve watched Bravo people put out different lines, and knew that I was never going to put something out that I wasn’t connected to. I’ve had companies come to me and suggest a fragrance or jewelry line, but none of that was ever really me.”
She added, “One summer I got this ‘lazy girl’ edit, and instead of fighting it or being like, ‘No, that’s really not me, I really work a lot,’ I leaned into it. If you come to my house on a normal Saturday afternoon, I’m probably in bed, lounging. Ever since I was little, I’ve wanted to have a clothing line, but I knew that if I had put something out years prior, it wouldn’t really hit the same.”
Paige further noted that her collection, highlighting her passions for fashion and lounging, has been in development for “almost two years now.”
While the Bravo personality is on her quest for continued independence and professional success, another relationship isn’t in the cards at the moment. (Paige broke up with Southern Charm star Craig Conover in late 2024.)
“Right now, I’m truly not focused on dating. I feel like it’s when you’re not looking for it that it happens,” she said. “I’m not going to rush into anything new. I just got out of something for three years. I am obviously out there dating; I’m just kind of taking a beat.”
