Why Jeremiah Brent Is Hesitant to Do Another Show With Husband Nate Berkus

As much as Jeremiah Brent loves his husband, Nate Berkus, quality time doesn’t have to include filming another show together.

“We did it for so long. I require a break,” Brent, who is 40 years old, expressed to Us Weekly while collaborating with Almond Breeze. “I see him every day. I mean, I would do anything with him, but to be honest with you, doing this show, Queer Eye, has altered my life.”

The interior designer said working with Tan France, Antoni Porowski, Jonathan van Ness and Karamo Brown has had a “huge impact on me.”

“It’s changed who I am as a father and as a husband, as a member of the queer community,” he explained to Us. “So I’m happy doing this right now.”

Having been married since 2014, Berkus, aged 53, and Brent have two children together: their daughter Poppy, who is 9, and their son Oskar, who is 6. The duo formerly collaborated on successful reality TV programs such as Nate and Jeremiah Home Project and Nate and Jeremiah: Save My House.

“I adore Nate more at present than I did when we first met,” Brent shared about his spouse. “I trust the great aspect of our relationship, something we actively strive to safeguard, is the concept of evolving collectively as we both develop individually. It’s a challenge that many married couples must manage, and it’s tough, but we have a deep mutual respect for each other.”

The founder of Jeremiah Brent Design said Berkus remains “my favorite person in the world” and is confident he would say the same thing.

“I love doing life with him,” he added. “It’s never boring.”

While the pair love their careers centered on interior design, both Berkus and Brent also savor every moment as parents to their two kids.

While Poppy and Oskar “challenge” the couple every day, it’s safe to say Brent wouldn’t want life any other way.

“I don’t know truly why we got so lucky with the kids we have and they are so good and so smart and so kind,” he told Us. “We’ve got two rules in our house, which is kindness and honesty.”

Another unofficial rule Brent may have in his house is to always have Almond Breeze in the kitchen. The designer teamed up with the brand to highlight the shelf-stable Almond milk varieties, including Unsweetened Vanilla and Unsweetened Original.

The Rachel Zoe Project gave viewers insight into the life and drama surrounding celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe as she built her fashion empire. The series aired from 2008 to 2013 on Bravo before getting canceled that year. The show, which lasted five seasons, starred Zoe and her husband and business partner, Rodger Berman. Zoe’s staff […]

The brand will also be running a sweepstakes to offer a pantry makeover with Brent for one lucky winner.

“It’s the leading shelf-stable almond milk, which is really important, especially as a parent who’s always on the go,” Brent said. “The fact that I can put something in my pantry and not be scared that it’s going to be bad in two days, let alone a couple months, is wild and amazing. It never lasts that long for the record, but it’s good to know that it could.”
