Savannah Chrisley Reacts After Donald Trump Pardons Her Parents

During a routine shopping trip over the weekend, the influencer was taken aback by a surprising phone call informing her that her parents had been granted a Presidential pardon by Donald Trump.

It is worth remembering that the reality TV personalities have been serving a collective 19-year sentence since 2023. Following this thrilling development, the 27-year-old took to social media to express her thoughts, with her reaction speaking volumes.

Savannah Chrisley Announces Her Parents’ Pardon

Todd and Julie are finally going home after spending over two years in jail.

Sharing the heartwarming news on her Instagram page on Tuesday, Savannah Chrisley announced that her parents are on the verge of being released from prison thanks to the presidential pardon from Trump.

In the emotional video, Savannah revealed that she had received the amazing news over a phone call from Trump while she was shopping at Sam’s Club.

“The president called me personally as I was walking at the Sam’s Club and notified me that he was signing pardon paperwork for both of my parents. So both my parents are coming home tonight or tomorrow, and I’m freaking out,” she said excitedly.

Savannah went ahead to express gratitude to the president and his administration. “The fact that the president called me. I will forever be grateful to President Trump, his administration, and everyone along the way,” she shared.

With news of the pardon, the “Chrisley Knows Best” alum revealed that she and her siblings were preparing for their parents’ return. “We’re getting some clothes for mom and dad, getting their room put together upstairs, and I’m just speechless,” Savannah said.

Overall, she vowed to stand by Trump and his administration and help expose corruption as well as to continue fighting for the men and women in prison.

Savannah also announced the news of her parents’ pardon in a statement. Speaking to E! News, she described it as an answer to prayers.

“For the past two and a half years, I’ve done everything in my power to fight for my parents’ freedom and bring them home. This moment is the answer to countless prayers, and I am beyond grateful to President Trump for seeing the truth and restoring my family. This administration does not hand out favors. It examines the facts and stands up for what is right,” she told the outlet.

Although Savannah shared that she and her family had finally gotten the victory, she said her job as an advocate against injustice wasn’t done.

“Today is a victory for our family, but the fight against wrongful convictions and injustice within our prison system is far from over. I will continue to use my voice and platform to advocate for those who do not have one,” she noted.

Donald Trump’s Phone Conversation With The Chrisleys

The news of Todd and Julie’s pardon first made headlines via a video shared by Margo Martin, the president’s special assistant and communications adviser.

The clip captured Trump’s conversation with Savannah and her brother, Grayson Chrisley.

“That’s a terrible thing. It’s a terrible thing. But it’s a great thing because your parents are going to be free and clean, and I hope we can do it by tomorrow. Is that okay?” Trump said while sitting in the Oval Office.

He continued, “We’ll try getting it done tomorrow. So give them — I don’t know them, but give them my regards and wish them — wish them a good life.”

The president also didn’t fail to hail Savannah Chrisley and Grayson, calling them “good children.”
