Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Enjoy New Orleans Date Night

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce managed to squeeze in a cozy date night ahead of the Super Bowl while visiting New Orleans.

The 35-year-old singer and football star were seen at Lilette, a French establishment described as the “sexiest restaurant in town” on its website.

Fox 8 Nola  and fan accounts shared footage of the couple’s arrival at the restaurant via X on Friday, February 7.

As per nola.com, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes accompanied the couple at Lilette. Actress Jennifer Coolidge and former football star Joe Montana were also present at the restaurant that night, although they were not part of Swift and Kelce’s group, the website noted.

The artist from The Tortured Poets Department wore a black mini dress, paired with a black clutch and her characteristic red lipstick for the cozy night out. On the other hand, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs sported a dark grey outfit for the event.

The pair reportedly spent several hours at the venue, dining in a private room before they were snapped leaving the restaurant hand in hand.

Swift and Kelce are in New Orleans as the sports star gears up to play in the Super Bowl at the New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome on Sunday. His team will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in the much anticipated football game.

While Kendrick Lamar is slated to headline the Super Bowl’s halftime show, rumors are rife that Swift could make a surprise cameo.

Kelce’s dad Ed Kelce was even grilled about the ongoing speculation that Swift may perform, during an appearance on Australia’s Today on Thursday, February 6.

However, Ed dodged the question without confirming whether the rumors were true or simply wishful thinking from fans.

“I have no idea,” Ed replied when asked if he knew whether Swift will perform on Sunday. “I haven’t talked to Taylor this week. I have no idea what her plans are. I would let her publicist talk to you about that.”

Ed did share his thoughts on how his son’s relationship with Swift will progress once the Super Bowl is finished and now that the singer is no longer on tour.

“I think, you know, once we get past the Super Bowl, I think it’s going to be a very good period of time for the two of them,” he told Today cohosts Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo. “Without the NFL season, without the Eras tour. Just them alone really connecting more. I think that can only be a good thing.”
