In an interview with Entertainment Tonight in April 2021, Hudgens revealed that she and Tucker crossed paths in a peculiar manner – through a Zoom meditation group. She expressed her contentment with the relationship, describing Tucker as the perfect match for her.
Following this, in May 2021, Hudgens disclosed on The Drew Barrymore Show how she took the initiative in getting to know the baseball player. She confessed to sending the first message by sliding into his DMs and simply saying, ‘Hey, it was nice to meet you.’ Hudgens emphasized the importance of not hesitating to make the first move in relationships.
