2025 Golden Globes winners list: Here is all of the nominations

Hollywood’s annual champagne-soaked celebration of film and television revs of awards show season.

LOS ANGELES — “The Bear,” “Shōgun” and “Emilia Perez” are among the nominees for the 82nd Golden Globes.

The Golden Globes have unique award categories for both drama and musical/comedy, making it challenging to predict the top Oscar contenders. This year, there isn’t a clear frontrunner yet among the nominated films. Jon M. Chu’s “Wicked,” “Conclave,”“Anora,””Emilia Pérez,” and “The Brutalist” all secured nominations, with “Emilia Pérez” leading the pack with 10 nominations.

Two prestigious awards have already been announced by the Golden Globes. Viola Davis will be honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award, while veteran actor Ted Danson, known for his role in “Cheers,” will receive the Carol Burnett Award. The awards ceremony for these accolades will take place at a gala dinner on Jan. 3.

What time is the Golden Globes and what channel is it on?

The 82nd Golden Globes will be hosted by comedian and actress Nikki Glaser on Sunday, Jan. 5. Viewers can catch the live broadcast on CBS or stream it on Paramount+ at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
