Tyler Henry shared an update on his health following his recent brain surgery.
Expressing his gratitude, the 29-year-old star of Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry thanked his Instagram followers for their support through messages, prayers, and positive energy. He expressed how touched and thankful he felt for the overwhelming response.
In May, Henry shared that he had undergone a second surgery after medical professionals discovered a colloid tumor located near the center of his brain. Colloid cysts or tumors are typically non-cancerous and can remain dormant in the brain for a long time. However, as they grow, they can lead to various neurological symptoms like headaches, nausea, imbalance, and confusion.
In his latest video blog, the famous medium reassured his followers of his well-being by announcing his return to conducting group readings starting from Thursday, May 29, providing them with a “proof of life” update.
“I know people have shown interest in how group readings affect my physical health and vice versa,” he acknowledged. “I just can’t stress enough that readings are a huge relief for me. Despite what I go through as I do them, it ultimately allows me to blow off unnecessary steam, keeps my skills sharp and it really is the passion of my life.”
Henry continued, “I hope [these group readings] give you as much relief as [they] do [for] me. This Thursday, I will see you there in cyberspace.”
The Life After Death with Tyler Henry host previously revealed in 2023 that he’d undergone his first brain surgery for a “congenital brain cyst” just after his 18th birthday.
“A mass I was born with was only now causing a life-threatening situation as my adult life was just beginning,” he recalled.
He went on, “Without the inevitable brain surgery that ensued, I don’t think I would of had such a firsthand awareness of the fragility of life. It was an intimate reminder for me of the fine line dividing this realm and the next.”
Following his second brain surgery in May 2025, Henry shared a photo of himself recovering in a hospital bed to assure his fans that he was on the road to recovery.
“Brain surgery was a success! Great prognosis, incredible staff, and I feel so thankful to be surrounded by my family,” Henry announced via Instagram on May 14. “I’ll be on bedrest for a month and look forward to getting back to doing readings.”
Henry also joked that “not much should change” with his ability to provide group readings because “the tumor, not my brain” was removed.
“This isn’t my first rodeo with this, and I have so much to be thankful for — I’ll see ya’ll very soon with lots of thought-provoking subjects and of course, readings,” he promised.“Thank you all so much for your support.”
Henry gained a following after a 2015 appearance on Keeping Up with the Kardashians where he gave the famous family a group reading. He launched his own show Hollywood Medium With Tyler Henry on E! in 2016 — and has since provided readings for Megan Fox, Brie Garcia, Ricki Lake, Amber Rose and many other celebrities.
