tWitch's Daughter Weslie Honors Late Dad in Moving Father's Day Tributes

Steven “tWitch” Boss was lovingly remembered by his daughter Weslie on Father’s Day.

The 16-year-old, who lost her father in December 2022, took to Instagram on Sunday, June 15, to honor the late TV personality and choreographer.

Weslie posted a heartfelt message on her first Instagram Story, commemorating Father’s Day with her late father. The post included two photos of them together, with Weslie referring to him as her guardian angel and expressing how much she misses him every day.

Boss died by suicide at the age of 40, with Us Weekly confirming on December 14, 2022, that the investigation into his death was officially closed.

Matching moment. Allison Holker and her 14-year-old daughter, Weslie, twinned in black ensembles during their first red carpet appearance since the death of Stephen “tWitch” Boss. The former Dancing With the Stars pro, 35, and Weslie attended the NAMI WLA Mental Health Gala on Friday, May 12, where they were honored for their commitment to mental health awareness. […]

The pictures seemed to be taken by a former DJ from the Ellen DeGeneres Show, capturing a playful moment where the youngster was dressed up while her dad made silly faces for the camera.

Continuing her tribute, Weslie shared a video of herself and Boss dancing in another Story. She expressed her longing to dance and smile with her father once more in the future. The video, originally from TikTok, featured a touching message from Weslie and a humorous caption that read, “Don’t bring ur [sic] overprotective dad.”

Weslie recently opened up about the loss of her father while recording the April 20 episode of her “Between Us” podcast, also hosted by her mother and Boss’ wife, Allison Holker.

Less than a year after his death, Allison Holker is paying tribute to late husband Stephen “tWitch” Boss on his birthday. “We honor our beautiful, sweet, kind and loving Stephen tWitch Laurel Boss,” Holker, 35, wrote via Instagram on Friday, September 29. “Forever on our hearts and minds carrying us, guiding us and lifting us. […]

The episode, which saw Weslie break down in tears as the pair discussed her younger siblings’ futures, drew candid comments from Weslie. (Weslie is Holker’s daughter from a previous relationship and she grew up with Boss after he married Holker, 37, in 2013. Holker and Boss welcomed son, Maddox, and daughter, Zaia, in 2016 and 2019, respectively.)

“When my siblings grow up, I don’t want them to be, like, ‘[You’re] not biologically related to him.’ I’m going to be, like, ‘We’re his kids and we didn’t get to experience him,’” Weslie said on the podcast at the time. “My biggest fear is that they grow up and they end up resenting, not only him, but us for experiencing it. I don’t want that to happen at all. I’d rather put my feelings aside for them.”

Her mother, a Dancing With the Stars alum, was quick to comfort her daughter.

Family fun! Allison Holker was joined by her three children at the premiere of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The choreographer, 35, was all smiles on Tuesday, May 30, as she posed with eldest daughter Weslie, 15, at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles. Holker’s younger kids — son Maddox, 7, and daughter Zaia, 3 […]

“They get to have you as their big sister,” Holker told Weslie. “You’re so aware of these feelings, but I don’t want you to ever harp on that and live from that. … They’re not going to resent you. They’re gonna wish that they had these kinds of moments with him, but they’re going to love that you’re teaching them and you’re loving them in that same way [and] presenting that same energy that he would have had onto them.”

Last month, Holker reflected further on life after losing Boss, revealing that her outlook has forever changed. “I think from experiencing loss, I really grew a lot when it came to the comparison and not comparing myself to others, because when I lost Steven — my late husband, two years ago — the things I miss about him are what he probably would have thought were his flaws,” Holker said on the May 18 episode of the podcast. “Or the things that he thought, like, ‘Oh, I’m sorry if this is annoying,’ or, ‘I do this,’ or like, ‘These are weird habits that I have.’ But those are the things I wish I could have back.”
