Frightening video shows what it’s like to be eaten by a shark

A shocking video shows what prey often see during their last moments after being swallowed by a shark in a “Jaws”-dropping encounter. 

The video was recorded on February 9 by diver Andrea Ramos Nascimento while observing a shark being fed near Freeport in the Bahamas, as reported by Storyful News.

During the footage, there is a moment when the divers are seen outside the cage while the shark continues to bite. Eventually, the shark spits out the camera, indicating it likely realized it was not food. 

Tiger sharks are some of the largest sharks, with some growing up to 18 feet long, according to the Florida Museum.

According to the museum website, tiger sharks, bull sharks, and white sharks are often known as ‘The Big Three’ due to their association with shark attacks.
