According to the news outlet, Teixeira explained that Bieber risked sparking a “media firestorm” that could lead to a “PR sh-t show” if he’d spoken out before now.
The Bad Boy Records founder has been embroiled in several civil lawsuits and risks being sentenced to life in prison if he’s found guilty of the charges leveled against him.
“It could even retraumatize others. Bieber likely waited for a combination of personal readiness, legal clarity, and cultural timing,” Teixeira said, adding that by speaking now, the singer “ensured his voice would carry weight, not speculation.”

Meanwhile, an insider who spoke to the Daily Mail declared that Bieber regrets working with Diddy on his last album and wouldn’t have done it if he knew what was happening in the background.
