She was dating cyclist, adventurer, and video maker Randy Christopher Bates and they had been together since at least 2013, based on the first photo he posted of them on Instagram.

Their last appearance as a couple was in 2019 when they attended the Oscars, where Cleo’s father was nominated for his role in “A Star Is Born.”

He used to tag her as his “fiance” in their photos, but since she is private, it is unknown whether they got married or are still together. However, Bates seemed to have a good relationship with Cleo’s parents.

In March 2011, Ross filed a restraining order against Cleo, who she said had repeatedly stabbed her in the arm. In the restraining order, Ross said Cleo had:

“verbally and emotionally abused me even as a little girl but became increasingly violent at age 12 or 13.”

While no one knows what instigated the incident, the family suspended the request for the restraining order less than 30 days after it had been granted. Despite the incident, the family has presented a united front as they sometimes attend events together.

WHO ARE CLEO ROSE ELLIOT’S PARENTS?

Cleo’s father, Sam, is known for his roles in “The Ranch,” “Mask,” “The Road house,” “Tombstone,” “The Big Lebowski,” “I’ll See You in My Dreams,” “Justified,” and more.

Ross is an actress famous for her iconic roles in “The Graduate,” “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” and “The Stepford Wives.” She had met Sam in 1978 while filming “The Legacy in London.”

However, that was not the first time she had worked in the same movie as her actor husband as he had a small role in “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” even though they never met on set.

The following year after they met, Ross divorced her fourth husband and married Sam in 1984. Later that year, they welcomed their daughter Cleo, whom Sam said was the love of his life.
