NBC announced the lineup for its final three shows on Thursday. See who’s hosting and headlining.

NEW YORK — “Saturday Night Live” will close out its epic 50th season with Scarlett Johansson as host and Bad Bunny as musical guest.

NBC announced the lineup for its final three shows on Thursday, with Johansson and Bad Bunny headlining the May 17 show.

In recent years, the final episode of The final show has garnered a lot of interest, particularly for the last segment of Weekend Update. During this segment, cast members Michael Che and Colin Jost take turns reading jokes that were actually written by the other. Interestingly, many of the jokes that Jost ends up reading are centered around his wife, Johansson.

The final bloc of three episodes will begin May 3 with “Abbott Elementary” creator and star Quinta Brunson hosting and Benson Boone performing.

On May 10, Walton Goggins, who has been making waves on television with roles in “The White Lotus” and “The Righteous Gemstones,” will be hosting the show. Additionally, the musical guest for the night will be Arcade Fire, marking their sixth appearance on the show, a remarkable 18 years after their first performance.

In February, “SNL50: The Anniversary Celebration” was broadcast live from New York on NBC and Peacock. Over the years, Saturday Night Live has played a significant role in catapulting the careers of numerous comedians from various generations. Notable stars like Eddie Murphy, Kristen Wiig, and Will Ferrell all got their start on the show, appearing in its early sketches.

And the evening included epic cameos that included Meryl Streep, Jack Nicholson and Keith Richards. Many other iconic names and faces mad appearances for the anniversary episode, including Kim Kardashian, Robert De Niro, Pedro Pascal, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Adam Driver, Cher, Jon Hamm, Jason Momoa, Peyton Manning and Keith Richards.
