SundanceTV is airing a new episode of Off Script With The Hollywood Reporter featuring six of the industry’s top producers on Sunday.
THR partnered with AMC Networks’ SundanceTV and AMC+ for the new TV series. THR’s Roundtables, which have become a hallmark of career achievement for stars and awards contenders, will be reimagined for broadcast, offering a fresh perspective on a classic, showcasing the collective brilliance of the entertainment industry’s finest and funniest minds as never before.
This Sunday, the newest episode (airing at 8 a.m. ET) will feature the Producer Roundtable. The conversation, moderated by THR film writer Mia Galuppo, features Tom Ackerley (Barbie), Ed Guiney (Poor Things), Natalie Portman (May December), Scott Sanders (The Color Purple), Christine Vachon (Past Lives and May December) and George C. Wolfe (Rustin).
Off Script, hosted by Emmy-nominated actress and comedian Yvonne Orji, debuted Dec. 31, with previous episodes focusing on songwriters, actresses, actors and directors. The entire series will be available to stream on AMC+ starting March 4.
The Songwriter Roundtable, moderated by THR senior music editor Mesfin Fekadu, features Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, Julia Michaels, Jon Batiste and Cynthia Erivo opening up about the songs they wrote for films including Barbie (Eilish, Lipa), The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (Rodrigo), Wish (Michaels), American Sympony (Batiste) and Drift (Erivo).
The Actress Roundtable, moderated by THR senior film editor Keegan, features top talent in the form of Margot Robbie (Barbie), Emma Stone (Poor Things), Lily Gladstone (Killers of the Flower Moon), Annette Bening (Nyad), Carey Mulligan (Maestro) and Greta Lee (Past Lives).
The Director Roundtable, presented by NEOM and also moderated by Keegan, includes Blitz Bazawule (The Color Purple), Bradley Cooper (Maestro), Ava DuVernay (Origin), Todd Haynes (May December), Greta Gerwig (Barbie) and Michael Mann (Ferrari).
The Actor Roundtable, moderated by Scott Feinberg, THR’s executive editor, awards, features Robert Downey Jr. (Oppenheimer), Mark Ruffalo (Poor Things), Jeffrey Wright (American Fiction), Colman Domingo (Rustin), Paul Giamatti (The Holdovers) and Andrew Scott (All of Us Strangers).
Boasting an all-new cinematic format, Off Script With The Hollywood Reporter was filmed on location in The Georgian Room at The Georgian Hotel, the iconic Hollywood hangout in Santa Monica.
