The latest news coming out of camp Barca is that the Catalan club has reached an agreement with Inter Milan for Jordi Alba. The Italian giants will aquire the Spaniard’s services on a season long loan.

According to reports, the two clubs have reached a concrete agreement, but they are waiting on confirmation from the player himself. Alba has yet to put pen to paper.

It has been suggested that the player is not keen on the move, and is happy at Barcelona. He also wants to avoid any possibility of jeopardizing his chances of being called up to Luis Enrique’s World Cup squad. He sees Barcelona as his best option in this regard.

Alba’s future has been under review at Barcelona after a significant drop in form and issues regarding a pay cut. The Spaniard has played over 400 games for the club since signing in 2012, winning five Copas del Rey, five League titles and one Champions League.
