13-year-old girl declared missing in Satellite Beach

SATELLITE BEACH, Fla. – Police are searching for a 13-year-old girl who was reported missing out of Satellite Beach.

According to the Satellite Beach Police Department, Avery Monroe Rice was last spotted at Atlantic Plaza on Wednesday around 5:30 p.m. along Jimmy Buffett Memorial Highway (A1A), as mentioned in a press release.

Rice is characterized as 4 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 90 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. During her last sighting, she was dressed in a black shirt, black shorts, and black and white shoes. It was also mentioned in the release that she recently had braces put on.

Investigators have indicated that, as of Friday, there is no indication of any wrongdoing related to Rice’s disappearance. They have expressed the belief that she is likely staying with friends during this time.
