Police said Hodge climbed under a commercial vehicle in the overnight hours as a storm was overhead.

About an hour later, the driver arrived to the parking lot and departed, unaware that Hodge was under the trailer, according to police.

Hodge sustained fatal injuries as the vehicle exited the parking lot, police said.

No other details have been released.
