In Osceola County, Florida, a man of 40 years old was taken into custody on allegations of sexually assaulting foster children under his care, as reported by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Marcos Lopez revealed in a press briefing held on Tuesday evening that the investigation commenced in November 2024 following a child’s disclosure of being subjected to sexual abuse by Daniel Lamppin between the ages of 6 and 8.
Deputies said a second victim, who is now an adult, reported being sexually abused by Lamppin starting at age 16 and “continued for years.”
At the press conference, Sheriff Lopez remarked, “This individual is employed at a Chick-fil-A outlet on South Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando and was active as a youth pastor in a local church based in St. Cloud.”

Lopez said that based on the fact that Lamppin was a foster parent and through his work as a youth pastor, there is a concern there could be more victims.
