LONDON – The British police have apprehended an individual on suspicion of arson with the intent to endanger life following a fire at the London residence where Prime Minister Keir Starmer resided before assuming office.
The 21-year-old was arrested early Tuesday.
No one was injured in the blaze early Monday that damaged the door of the north London house.
Starmer no longer resides at that location. Ever since assuming office in July, Starmer and his family have been residing at the official Downing Street residence allocated for the prime minister.
