Winning Powerball numbers for the $189 million jackpot on May 28, 2025: See all the prizes hit in Ohio

The jackpot now climbs to $207 million for the next Powerball drawing, which is set for Saturday, May 31.

In the recent drawing on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, no one managed to secure the $189 million Powerball jackpot. However, according to the Ohio Lottery, numerous winners emerged from various parts of the state.

Here’s a full list of winners in Ohio from last night’s drawing:

  • $200 prize: 8 winners
  • $100 prize: 18 winners
  • $14 prize: 284 winners
  • $8 prize: 3,441 winners
  • $7 prize: 551 winners
  • $4 prize: 6,744 winners

Additionally, officials from Powerball confirmed that there were three tickets that each won $1 million in the same drawing held on Wednesday night. Out of these fortunate tickets, two were purchased in California, with the third one sold in the state of Washington.

The winning numbers were 23, 27, 32, 35, 59 and Powerball 11. The Power Play option was 2x.

As a result of no jackpot winner, the prize money has now increased to $207 million for the upcoming Powerball draw scheduled for Saturday, May 31, at 10:59 p.m. The cash alternative for this prize amounts to $91 million.

Powerball lottery officials say the odds of hitting the jackpot are one in 292,201,338. The odds of hitting a $1 million winning ticket in Powerball, meanwhile, are one in 11,688,053.52.

Northeast Ohio recently had a big Mega Millions winner as one lucky ticket sold at the Giant Eagle at 4401 Mayfield Rd. in South Euclid hit the jackpot worth $112 million on April 18.
