Cleveland police detectives found that the victim had been in a physical fight with an “unknown” male suspect at around 2:20 a.m.
CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating a shooting at a bar and restaurant that left a person dead early Saturday morning.Â
Police responded to an incident at the Frozen Daiquiri Bar & Restaurant on 721 Bolivar Road where they found evidence of a shooting but no victim present, as confirmed by a spokesperson from the Cleveland Division of Police.
Later on, it was discovered that the victim had been transported to the hospital in a private vehicle. Investigators determined that the victim had engaged in a physical altercation with an unidentified male suspect at approximately 2:20 a.m.
Reportedly, a significant crowd had gathered around the altercation. When the victim and the perpetrator ceased their fight, the suspect proceeded to shoot the victim multiple times.
Police are still investigating the shooting and no arrests have been made.
