CLEVELAND — We are following breaking news out of Cleveland, where crews battled fires at two occupied homes on the city’s east side.Â
According to the Cleveland Division of Fire, the blazes happened at two houses on East 68th Street just south of Cedar Avenue.Â
Cleveland fire officials mentioned on X (formerly Twitter) that everyone had been safely evacuated from the houses, and no one was hurt. The fire was brought “under control” around 2:28 p.m.
Fire investigators are currently at the scene to help determine the cause.Â
The news about the house fires was initially shared on X by Cleveland Fire at 2:05 p.m. Division officials stated, “2nd Alarm has been activated, prompting more fire crews to head to the location.”
