DENVER — A violent holiday weekend in Denver has left six people wounded in four separate shootings in the city.
There have been no arrests made in any of the four incidents, which include a triple shooting that took place in the 4400 block of E. Jewell Avenue in the early hours of Sunday morning.
That southeast Denver shooting left three people wounded. They were transported to the hospital, where their conditions are not known.
Prior to the shooting on Jewell Avenue, law enforcement responded to a shooting incident in the 2300 block of Welton Street, where one individual was found and taken to the hospital.
Another shooting occurred on Saturday night in the 12000 block of E. Albrook Drive, resulting in one person sustaining injuries and being transported to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.
The fourth shooting occurred early Saturday morning in the 1000 block of N. Sheridan Boulevard. One person was transported to the hospital in that incident.
