The Ohio Lottery says one lucky winner bought a ticket with a prize worth $100,000 at Sciotoville 1st Stop in Scioto County.
Now, the jackpot stands at a whopping $100 million for the upcoming Powerball draw scheduled for Monday, April 14, at 10:59 p.m. Winners have the option of taking home $44.8 million in cash.

Powerball officials emphasize the challenging odds involved in winning the grand prize, which are calculated at 1 in 292,201,338. The probability of securing a $1 million winning ticket in Powerball is slightly higher at 1 in 11,688,053.52.
