In Bay Lake, Florida, guests at Magic Kingdom can now enjoy a nighttime parade, a feature that has been absent for almost a decade.
Starting July 20, “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” will twinkle through Main Street U.S.A.
The parade, fueled by the enchantment of the Blue Fairy, will showcase a mix of beloved characters from classic and modern Walt Disney Animation Studios and Disney Pixar movies. This marks the first appearance of some characters in a Disney Live Entertainment nighttime parade.
Disney has revealed that Goofy, Pluto, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck will be at the forefront of the procession, joined by iconic Disney moments such as Snow White and Dopey riding in a mine car, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider on a boat heading towards a shimmering lantern, and Aladdin and Jasmine embarking on a magic carpet ride.
Along with the opening date, Disney also revealed its grand finale float, the Starlight Train, inspired by the Main Street Electrical Parade float.
The iconic nighttime parade had its final run in October 2016 at Magic Kingdom before it returned to Disneyland for a limited time.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse will close out the parade and will be decked out in sparkling new looks.
Disney characters featured in the parade include:
-
The Blue Fairy

Peter Pan & Wendy
