3 new Meijer locations set to open in Northeast Ohio on Thursday, May 8

The new stores will be located in Austintown, Medina and Richmond Heights.

MEDINA, Ohio — Three brand new Meijer Supercenter locations are set to open this Thursday, May 8 in Northeast Ohio

At 6 a.m., doors will open for the first time at the following locations:

  • Austintown Meijer: 5800 Mahoning Ave., Austintown, Ohio 44515
  • Medina Meijer: 1105 N. Court St., Medina, Ohio 44256
  • Richmond Heights Meijer: 5155 Wilson Mills Rd., Richmond Heights, Ohio 44143

In a press release, the popular grocery chain released the following statement about the openings of the new locations:

The supercenters will offer a wide range of products that Meijer customers are familiar with, such as essential grocery items, fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, meats, and deli options. Additionally, shoppers can explore a floral section, garden center, and home goods department. The store will also house a pharmacy, health, and beauty products, a large pet care area, electronics, toys, sporting goods, and apparel. Customers can also fuel up at the Meijer Express gas station located near the Austintown store.

On Thursday following the grand opening of each store, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. at each location.

As of Wednesday, May 7, job openings are still available at the Medina and Richmond Heights locations. To learn more about these available positions, individuals can visit jobs.meijer.com for additional information.
