ORLANDO, Fla. – This weekend, SeaWorld Orlando will debut a new nighttime drone show for its Summer Spectacular festival.

The drone show will join the Ignite Fireworks Spectacular over the park’s central lake starting Saturday night.

SeaWorld announces the deployment of hundreds of drones to create aerial displays of sea creatures and ocean waves synchronized with the song “Feeling Electric.” The show shifts as the drones transform into fireflies, setting the stage for the fireworks display.

The drone show and the fireworks will take place on select nights throughout the summer.

Nova Sky Stories, a company founded by Kimbal Musk, brother of Elon Musk, is the vendor for the drone show.

The Summer Spectacular event will continue until September 1, featuring new attractions such as the cirque-inspired HydroSurge at the Nautilus Theater. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a new mini-show and interact with the characters from Baby Shark.

Beginning on June 14, emperor penguins will be a new addition to the Antarctica Realm close to Penguin Trek. SeaWorld proudly proclaims that it will be the exclusive location in the western hemisphere where guests can observe emperor penguins.
