BAY LAKE, Fla. – Just months before Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off, Disney is sharing new details on its popular fall event.
This year, the separate ticketed event at Magic Kingdom begins on Aug. 15 and runs select nights through Oct. 31.
As reported by the Disney Parks Blog, the event will feature a variety of attractions such as unique shows, Halloween-themed treats and drinks, photo opportunities, limited-edition products, character meetings, and ample opportunities for trick-or-treating.
One of the highlights will be the joint appearance of Mickey and Minnie in their Halloween outfits at Town Square Theater, marking the first time they will greet visitors together. Furthermore, Disney Villains will be wandering the streets during the event, adding to the spooky atmosphere.
To enhance the experience for young attendees, the popular Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade will be held at 8:15 p.m., giving families with children plenty of time to enjoy the festivities. For those looking to catch the parade at a later time, there will also be a second showing at 11:15 p.m.
Disney also said to expect a new dance party with the music and moves of “Zombies 4” and certain attractions will be getting a “Halloween treatment.”
Disney will also release a foodie guide menu at a later time.
And of course, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show and the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show will be back.
