CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — Cleveland Heights police are investigating a shooting that left a woman dead and a man injured on Saturday morning.
According to a press release, police were called to a home on the 3500 block of Randolph Road after multiple people were reported shot around 3 a.m. Upon reaching the location, officers discovered a 74-year-old woman who was unresponsive, with a visible gunshot wound to her head. Tragically, she was declared deceased at the scene.
Officers also found an 18-year-old man who had been shot in the leg. He was transported to a nearby hospital.
Cleveland Heights police have not disclosed the identity of any suspect related to the shooting so far. They urge anyone who may have details about the incident to contact their detective line at 216-291-3883.
