Fire crews battle blaze at industrial building on Coit Road in Cleveland

Officials told 3News that a Magnesium barrel caught fire at a recycling facility,

CLEVELAND — Fire crews were on scene in Cleveland on Thursday morning, battling a blaze that broke out at an industrial building on Coit Road. 

As of 10:23 a.m., the fire was under control, and crews were checking for hot spots. 

According to a post on X from Cleveland Fire, additional resources were brought in for the fire.

Officials told 3News that a Magnesium barrel caught fire at a recycling facility, noting that it takes a specific method to fight this fire.

In addition, no injuries were reported. At this time, the cause of the fire, as well as the extent of the damage, is unknown.
