A tragic incident occurred in Broward County, Florida, where a mother and her three sons lost their lives in a shooting. The Broward County Sheriff’s Office reported that the shooting took place on Wednesday evening, resulting in the death of the mother and her two sons while her daughter and the suspected shooter were injured and taken to the hospital.
Law enforcement received a distressing call about the shooting at 7:36 p.m. at a residence on West Hallandale Beach Boulevard in Pembroke Park. The incident prompted a swift and significant response from authorities to the scene.
Deputies said they found six people in the home who had been shot.

According to deputies, Julie Cruz and her three sons died from their injuries.
Stephen McKenzie appeared to have shot himself, deputies said.
Phiinyx Solomon, the 8-year-old daughter of Cruz, and Stephen McKenzie were taken to the hospital for treatment, the release states.
According to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office, it was revealed that the victims included Julie Cruz and her two sons from a previous relationship, Nova and Emery McKenzie, who tragically lost their lives in the shooting. The release also mentioned that another son, Xion Solomon, who was from a different father, was also among those who succumbed to the violence. The only surviving child, a daughter named Phiinyx Solomon, was also involved in the tragic event.
Investigators added that Stephen McKenzie was in custody at the hospital, and charges against him are pending.
