Where will Super Bowl 2026, 27 and 28 be played at?

Will your team get to host the Super Bowl? Here’s where you can expect the next four Super Bowl games to be played.

Super Bowl LIX will be hosted in New Orleans this coming Sunday, stirring curiosity about the locations for future championship games.

It’s a tough process to pick which cities get to host the most watched television broadcast in the United States every year.

Matt Shapiro, who serves as the NFL’s vice president of events strategy, explained to Axios that several considerations determine the selection process. These factors include the weather, availability of nearby hotels, the quality of the stadium, interest from fans and teams, and logistical arrangements.

The NFL has already set the dates and locations for the Super Bowl through 2028. 

Future Super Bowl locations and dates

  • Super Bowl LIX: Scheduled for Feb. 9, 2025 – Caesars Superdome (New Orleans, LA), home of the New Orleans Saints
  • Super Bowl LX: Feb. 8, 2026 – Levi’s Stadium (Santa Clara, CA), home of the San Francisco 49ers
  • Super Bowl LXI: Feb. 14, 2027 – SoFi Stadium (Inglewood, CA), home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers
  • Super Bowl LXII: February 13, 2028 – Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta, GA), home of the Atlanta Falcons

Which cities have hosted the most Super Bowls?

This year marks the 59th Super Bowl, but when it comes to host cities New Orleans and Miami are far ahead of everyone else. 

Here are the cities that have hosted the championship football game the most:

Years hosted: 1968, 1969, 1971, 1976, 1979, 1989, 1995, 1999, 2007, 2010, 2020

2. New Orleans (11)

Years hosted: 1970, 1972, 1975, 1978, 1981, 1986, 1990, 1997, 2002, 2013, 2025

3. Pasadena, Calif. (5)

Years hosted: 1977, 1980, 1983, 1987, 1993

4. Tampa, Fla. (5)

Years hosted: 1984, 1991, 2001, 2009, 2021

5. Atlanta (3)

Years hosted: 1994, 2000, 2019

6. San Diego (3)

Years hosted: 1988, 1998, 2003

7. Houston (3)

Years hosted: 1974, 2004, 2017

8. Glendale, Ariz. (3)
