The suspect, 30-year-old Adam Abdallah, had warrants out for his arrest in multiple Northeast Ohio cities.
BRUNSWICK, Ohio — A Brunswick man is behind bars after leading multiple officers on a chase, according to the Brunswick Police Department.
Adam Abdallah, a 30-year-old man, reportedly evaded officers who tried to pull him over around 6:10 p.m. on Sunday, March 30. The Strongsville Police Department had assistance from the Brunswick police during the chase.
The authorities managed to deploy spike strips close to West 130th Street near Boston Road, which effectively led to Abdallah’s apprehension. Subsequently, Brunswick police handed him over to Strongsville police upon his arrest.
At the time of his arrest, Abdallah had the following warrants active:
- Drug paraphernalia – Brunswick
- Drug abuse – Medina County Sheriff’s Office
- Drug abuse – Lorain County Sheriff’s Office
- Failure to comply – Cleveland Division of Police
Brunswick police said no officers were injured during the incident.
Additional charges are pending.
