Looking to iron some things out before the start of the Horizon League Tournament, the Vikings led by 30 at halftime and never looked back.
Mickayla Perdue led Cleveland State to victory with 24 points, seven rebounds, and six assists in their 85-53 win over Robert Morris on Senior Day at the Wolstein Center.
The Viking’s senior class was honored for their incredible success, including an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2023. The community commemorated their achievements during the game where Cleveland State dominated, leading by 30 points at halftime.
Perdue was sharp from downtown, making four of her six three-point attempts. Macey Fegan contributed 14 points and seven rebounds, and Jordana Reisma added 11 points with nine boards for CSU (22-7, 13-5 Horizon League).
Katelyn Chomko led Robert Morris (12-15, 8-10) with 15 points off the bench. With the game out of reach early, none of the Colonials’ five starters played more than 19 minutes.
Cleveland State will host Wright State Wednesday night before heading to Youngstown State next Saturday to finish the regular season. The Horizon League Tournament begins March 4, though the third-seeded Vikings won’t play until the quarterfinals on March 6.
