ORLANDO, Fla. – After a cool day in Central Florida only reaching the low 60s, expect another cold night ahead.
There will be some clouds along the coast to keep temperatures a bit warmer in the mid-to-upper 40s to low 50s.
To the west of I-95, the skies will mostly be clear, resulting in temperatures dropping to the upper 30s to low to mid 40s. Across the area, wind-chill values will vary from the mid 30s to the mid 40s from overnight into early tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow, the winds will persist from the north-northeast at 10-15 mph. There will be some clouds present throughout the day, and temperatures will reach the upper 60s to low 70s. Along the coast, there may be a few showers making their way onshore late in the afternoon, continuing through the evening and overnight. The rain will mostly be light, with intermittent breaks, ensuring that the entire evening does not get rained out.
Looking ahead to the upcoming week, the return of onshore flow is expected, leading to a gradual warming trend and the possibility of sporadic showers due to the formation of a trough of low pressure just offshore.
Rain chances remain low between 20-30% through Christmas and possibly an isolated shower through Friday. Highs will remain in the low-to-mid 70s through Christmas. Expect the upper 70s late week heading into next weekend.
