The Great Lakes Science Center’s DOME theater is showing films like ‘Titanic’ and ‘Barbie’ this summer.
CLEVELAND — There is a new reason to visit the Great Lakes Science Center in downtown Cleveland.
In addition to its interactive exhibits, the center is bringing recent box office hits to its popular DOME Theater.
The “DOME Movies After Dark” series began in March with Thursday night showings of “Wicked,” which quickly sold out. The trend continued with April’s screening of “Interstellar,” which is also sold out.
The upcoming feature for May, “Titanic,” is experiencing a surge in demand. While the first screening is already sold out, there are still tickets available for a second showing on June 5.
Looking ahead, Jordan Coleman, the digital marketing coordinator for the Great Lakes Science Center, revealed that more blockbuster films are set to be featured every month throughout the summer.
“June’s feature will be ‘Barbie,’ July’s movie will be ‘La La Land,’ and in August, we will screen ‘The Dark Knight,'” Coleman told 3News.

Combination tickets, which include access to the Great Lakes Science Center along with the movie, are also available for an additional cost.
